Thank you, Irving Families!

You make Irving Elementary School the wonderful learning environment that it is!

Have you ever had the desire to practice typing at home? Click this link Learn to Type to try a free typing program and help our school earn 10 free lifetime licenses for the typing program that costs $7.50 per student. Welcome to Irving Elementary School!

Irving International Flags

To truly understand our place in the world,we must take learning into the world, beyond the classroom walls. Learning must be actively experienced, personal, and applied to real world situations. Our learning community, therefore, extends beyond the walls of the classroom and past the boundaries of the school grounds into our second classrooms: our community and our environment.

Tell me and I forget. Show me and I remember. Involve me and I understand.  --Chinese Proverb

Thank you to all of our Irving Friends and Families who supported the Book Fair on May 1 - 5, 2017!
We raised over $400.00 for All for Books for teacher's classrooms!
Stay tuned for a final tally of our Book Fair sales!

Yellowstone fundraiser donor list PDF2.pdf + Dr. Leslie Hayes, DDS!
The Irving 5th grade class experienced a fabulous, 5 day excursion through the Expedition Yellowstone Program this month. This trip would not have been possible without the generous donations we received from multiple individuals and businesses.
We also owe a big THANK YOU to all of the chaperones that accompanied the kids, Mr. Strand and Mrs. Carr, and the parent volunteers that coordinated financial donations, food donations and meal preparation, and gear donations.
